Mission & Vision
Our goal is to make rural areas in Bavaria sustainable for the future. We promote integrated rural development, village renewal, community development, and land consolidation as comprehensive measures. In doing so, we actively involve citizens, work closely with municipalities, planning associations, and other specialist agencies, and provide professional as well as financial resources. In this way, we strengthen regional structures, the environment, and the quality of life on site.
Target groups
The target group includes municipalities and municipal districts in rural regions of Bavaria, citizens participating in development processes, as well as associations and actors in rural areas. Our funding programs are aimed at municipalities with up to approximately 2,000 inhabitants per district, inter-municipal associations, and interest groups seeking to implement innovative projects to strengthen infrastructure, the environment, and community in rural areas.
