Academy of LIFE

Starting in August 2026, the Academy of LIFE will open an innovative primary and district school under independent sponsorship for grades 1–10 on the LIFE HAMBURG Campus. Under the umbrella of the Holistic Foundation, the project is based on a holistic, project-based learning concept that focuses on individual strengths and interests. In flexibly designed learning houses, open studios, and creative workshops, children and adolescents are encouraged to engage in self-effective learning. The educational approach includes cross-grade learning phases, coaching methods instead of traditional frontal teaching, and an architecture that acts as a pedagogical partner. This living and learning environment fosters trust, participation, and personal development—without grade pressure, but with continuous feedback and space for responsibility and community.

Interested families can submit ongoing applications for the 2026/27 school year immediately; only the registration form is required to apply. The Academy of LIFE is aimed at private individuals and is available as a grant offer specifically for non-profit projects. The goal is to establish a school that enables sustainable learning and allows children to grow at their own pace. The concept appeals to all those seeking a future-oriented educational alternative and who value a strength-based, participatory learning environment.
