Action Upwind

The Aktion Aufwind represents a pioneering initiative that has been providing swift and unbureaucratic support since 2012 to socially disadvantaged children, youth, and their families in the city and district of Rosenheim. This social aid project, initiated by the Sparkassenstiftung Zukunft in cooperation with Diakonie Rosenheim, targets individuals reliant on state assistance. With the aim of improving equal opportunities and sustainably breaking cycles of poverty, concrete actions and individual support measures are implemented to offer those affected new perspectives and forward-looking assistance in the areas of children, youth, and social affairs. Through targeted measures such as the provision of Christmas gifts, school backpacks, or organized family outings, a meaningful contribution to integration and participation is made.

The funding program is aimed at all residents of the Rosenheim region who may be affected by financial hardship or social exclusion. To apply, a comprehensive funding application including a cost and financing plan must be submitted, with applications being reviewed on an ongoing basis. The initiative places special emphasis on transparency and efficiency by granting concrete assistance quickly and straightforwardly.
