Description
The funding program Action Healthy Environment of the State of Brandenburg supports volunteer-led environmental education and nature conservation projects in the extracurricular sector with a grant of up to €3,000. The program specifically targets initiatives that develop educational offerings on climate protection, sustainable nutrition, and resource conservation, thereby strengthening environmental awareness in the region. Applicants may be private individuals, educational institutions, interest groups, or other associations based in the State of Brandenburg. For daycare centers, the maximum funding amount is €1,750. The funding covers up to 100% of eligible costs. Ineligible expenses include, for example, measures already commenced, ongoing room rents, wages and fees, administrative costs, as well as acquisitions of major equipment or periodic printed materials. Projects must be completed by the end of the funding year, and a long-term utilization concept as well as a professionally sound environmental education concept must be demonstrated. A binding involvement of several cooperation partners and all necessary permits must be attached to the application.
Applications are submitted to agrathaer GmbH by specified deadlines. Required documents include, among others, the completed application form, a detailed project description, the environmental education concept, the continuation or utilization concept, as well as evidence of cooperation partners and permits.
