Funding objective
With the aim of contributing to the mobility transition and achieving climate targets, active mobility and mobility management are to be sustainably established in Austrian society. Initiatives and projects promoting active mobility and mobility management, increasing the share of walking and cycling traffic, as well as measures to enhance acceptance of corresponding offerings, will be supported. This includes activities in the areas of information and awareness-raising, education and training, as well as competence and knowledge development for active, climate-friendly, and health-promoting mobility behavior.

Funding requirements
- Project must not have been started before the application submission without written consent
- Organizations must be professionally and resource-wise qualified and meet the requirements according to ARR 2014

- Performance report of the last year
- Proof of VAT liability
- Proof regarding enforcement, bankruptcy or composition proceedings of the last three years
- Statement from the transparency database for the last three years in the area of environment/transport
Description
The funding program "Active Mobility and Mobility Management" supports initiatives in Vienna that advance the mobility transition and promote climate goals. Eligible for funding are associations, non-profit organizations, companies, cooperatives, foundations, educational institutions, and public entities that are professionally and resource-wise capable of implementing projects in the areas of pedestrian and bicycle traffic as well as mobility management. The objective is to establish long-term awareness for climate-friendly, health-promoting mobility and to increase the acceptance of corresponding offers. The focus is on information, training and further education, as well as competence development for active mobility behavior.
Applicants must be entities that meet all requirements according to the General Framework Guidelines for Federal Funding (ARR 2014) and whose project start date is no earlier than the date of application submission. Eligible expenses include personnel costs, material and infrastructure costs, as well as travel expenses. Key project activities range from campaigns and events to the creation of educational and informational materials, as well as training sessions and conferences. Submissions are accepted continuously from September 1, 2022, until the total funding volume is exhausted. Application documents required include, among others, association statutes, non-objection certificate, list of board members, specimen signatures, association register excerpt, and for companies, an extract from the commercial register, current annual financial statements, performance reports, proof of VAT liability and insolvency status, as well as transparency data from the past three years.
