Description

The program is aimed at alumni fellows of the Alfried Krupp Science College Greifswald in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and supports scientific workshops that advance new research ideas in the familiar atmosphere of the college. Funding covers room usage for up to 28 participants, break catering, travel and accommodation costs, as well as public relations measures. Applications must be submitted via a specially provided application form. The type of funding granted is a subsidy, and applications can only be submitted online, with the submission period next year running from June 1 to August 31, 2026, and a project start possible no earlier than June 10, 2027.

The goal is to generate new impulses in the field of research & innovation through the organization of such workshops and to deepen existing networks. Applicants only need the completed form and must demonstrate that they are eligible as alumni fellows of the college. The initiative particularly supports interdisciplinary collaborations and the involvement of additional researchers – for example, from the University of Greifswald – to strengthen synergies among alumni and to consolidate scientific collaborations in the long term.
