Description
The APRIL Foundation annually honors impressive success stories from across Germany to strengthen social cohesion, democratic engagement, as well as education and training. Individuals are invited to describe personal or entrepreneurial milestones in a narratively compelling story of up to 2,000 characters and to submit a suitable landscape-format photo. Selected contributions will be published in April on the Foundation’s online channels and receive a recognition award of €100. Through this initiative, the Foundation promotes creative thinking and aims to highlight inspiring role models who motivate others to discover and further develop their own talents.
Participation requires an independent submission via email by March 21. Each story must include a meaningful title and a high-quality photo. A jury evaluates entries based on linguistic style, dramaturgical structure, and visual language. The publication of the 30 best success stories will take place in April, creating a platform that celebrates personal achievements while also providing impetus for social cohesion. Participants contribute with their authentic experiences to illuminate the creative potential within society and foster a positive climate of exchange.
