Description

The funding aims to enable people with physical, mental, psychological, and/or multiple disabilities in Upper Austria to achieve sustainable and self-determined employment in the general labor market. Providers develop individual training programs and offer specialized qualifications, key competencies, supervised practical instruction, as well as socio-pedagogical support. Additionally, business management, pedagogical-planning, and organizational services are implemented to ensure effective framework conditions and quality standards. This holistic approach promotes the transition into permanent employment and strengthens long-term professional and social integration.

Eligible for funding are non-profit organizations and public institutions recognized in accordance with § 27 Oö. ChG. The funding is granted as a 100% subsidy and can be utilized over a maximum project duration of 60 months. Personnel expenses, material costs for training and accompanying measures, as well as business management and organizational expenses are funded. Prerequisites include submitting an application to the responsible district administrative authority, the main residence or permanent stay of the funded persons in Upper Austria, the presence of a disability according to § 2 Oö. ChG, and the exclusion of comparable social benefits. Union citizens, nationals with equivalent rights, or holders of a permanent residence permit are eligible to apply. The application documents must include proof of lawful residence, a medical certificate regarding the disability, as well as income and asset statements. No fixed deadline is set; applications have been accepted continuously since 05.11.2013.
