Labor Market Policy Programs

The funding program is aimed at job seekers as well as individuals assigned through the Public Employment Service (AMS) and offers comprehensive support in Upper Austria. The focus is on labor market policy measures such as vocational training and further education, qualification, counseling, reintegration, and adaptation to the labor market. Designed as a grant, this offer supports projects that enable sustainable integration into the labor market and strengthen professional competencies. Private individuals can apply at any time, with no fixed end date planned, and the program has been running indefinitely since November 12, 2013. With a total volume of approximately EUR 2.5 million per year, the funding significantly contributes to closing qualification gaps and improving career prospects in the region.

Applications are accepted continuously and require either self-initiative or assignment by the AMS. A funding declaration must be submitted for the application, outlining the planned measures and costs. Performance monitoring is based on document verification through invoices and payment receipts, with on-site inspections by the funding agency remaining possible. This instrument aims to precisely address individual qualification and counseling needs and thus contributes to long-term adaptation to dynamic labor market requirements.
