Description

In Vienna, a grant program for employers provides targeted support to secure jobs for people with disabilities in the long term. Funding is granted for employees with a degree of disability of at least 30 percent as well as for young people up to the age of 24 with comparable impairments whose employment relationship is threatened due to economic or other risks. The grant covers up to 50 percent of wage costs including social security contributions, up to a maximum of three times the compensation levy per month, and is granted for a duration of up to 36 months. Funding requirements include credible proof of job endangerment, an existing employment relationship in Vienna, as well as documents such as the disability degree determination notice, proof of endangerment, and access to the payroll account.
