Artur Fischer Inventor Award Baden-Württemberg – Special Prize for Resource Efficiency

The Special Prize for Resource Efficiency within the framework of the Artur Fischer Inventor Award Baden-Württemberg honors inventions and innovations that make a demonstrable contribution to increasing resource efficiency and thus promote environmental and climate protection. This award format is aimed at private individuals, start-ups, companies, as well as research teams and start-ups based or operating in Baden-Württemberg. The annual competition provides an opportunity to present and showcase pioneering technologies and processes from the fields of environmental/nature conservation, climate protection, research & innovation, and energy efficiency to a broad professional audience. The award recognizes not only the innovative character but also the sustainability aspects and the economic feasibility of the submitted solutions.

Eligible to participate are all individuals and organizations with their residence or company headquarters in Baden-Württemberg who submit an independent invention or innovation whose core characteristic is the reduction of resource consumption or the optimization of material cycles. The jury evaluates according to clearly defined criteria: degree of innovation, level of efficiency improvement, sustainability aspects, as well as economic viability and feasibility. Winners receive, in addition to public recognition, an award, support in marketing, and valuable impulses for further development of their solution. Interested inventors and entrepreneurs are invited to participate in the application process and present their projects to a competent panel of experts.
