Advancement Scholarship

Advancement Scholarship supports dedicated professionals nationwide with dual vocational training and at least two years of practical experience when commencing university studies. As a grant amounting to €934 per month, the program contributes to living expenses and tuition fees – both for full-time and part-time studies alongside employment. The aim of the funding is the academic further qualification of experienced talents who wish to deepen their knowledge and sustainably enhance their career prospects. The duration extends up to a maximum of 36 months and is aligned with the standard study periods of the universities.

Applicants must have completed dual vocational training, at least two years of subsequent professional experience, and admission to a degree program at a university. The following documents must be submitted for the application: application form, proof of vocational training and experience, university admission notice, as well as a tabular curriculum vitae. The nationwide implementation is carried out by the Foundation for the Promotion of Talented Vocational Education (SBB) on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
