Description
The Vocational Training and Further Education Loan RLP from the Investment and Structural Bank Rhineland-Palatinate (ISB) offers companies, start-ups, and private individuals in Rhineland-Palatinate low-interest loans to create and secure training and employment positions as well as to finance investments and working capital. Funding is provided for vocational training and further education measures, hiring measures for job and training seekers, commercial construction costs, the acquisition of land, real estate, and movable assets, projects for the use of renewable energies, digitalization initiatives, medium-term working capital needs, inventory, as well as business takeovers and equity increases. Investment loans can be applied for up to €2 million, working capital financing up to €500,000, with the possibility of a 100% funding rate and an optional liability release of up to 50% if the corresponding requirements are met. Applications can be submitted at any time through the applicant’s house bank, ensuring continuous funding availability.
Eligible participants include small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), mid-cap companies with fewer than 3,000 employees, freelancers, and natural persons engaged in entrepreneurial activities or entering through succession. The prerequisite is the implementation of the project in Rhineland-Palatinate as well as proof of training activity, the formation of a training consortium, or professional qualification through further education. A written concept outlining the prospects for success and long-term future perspectives completes the application requirements. Excluded are, among others, companies in agriculture and forestry, fisheries and aquaculture, restructuring cases, companies in difficulty according to EU guidelines, as well as refinancing and follow-up financing of already completed projects. With the Vocational Training and Further Education Loan RLP, the ISB specifically supports the economic development and skilled labor supply in Rhineland-Palatinate.
