Expenditures for Other Projects in Healthcare

The funding is aimed at public institutions in Vorarlberg that wish to sustainably strengthen the healthcare system through innovative projects and measures. Supported initiatives include, among others, the preparation of high school graduates for the medical school entrance exam, the targeted promotion of healthcare professions, the co-financing of teaching practices, as well as the awarding of scholarships to medical students. As direct grants, the funds provide planning security and enable flexible project implementation without fixed submission deadlines – applications can be submitted at any time.

Particularly interested are organizations and institutions in the healthcare sector that develop and implement concrete measures such as test preparation courses, practice establishments for teaching practices, or scholarship models. A prerequisite for approval is a well-founded project plan and the authorization of the respective measures. Eligible expenses include, for example, costs for exam preparation, co-financing of training and teaching practices, as well as scholarship costs for medical students. Disbursement takes place after completion and settlement of the respective project based on the General Funding Guidelines of the State of Vorarlberg. The budgeted volume amounts to €0.19 million (reference number 1027978), allowing for the realization of small and medium-sized initiatives.
