Description

The International Islamic Foundation – Education and Culture grants low-interest loans nationwide for the borrowing of selected historical artifacts and documents from its extensive collection. Eligible applicants include public institutions, non-profit organizations, interest groups, as well as educational and research institutions that are already planning cultural or scientific events. Applications can be submitted at any time; the completed loan application must specify the title, exhibition duration, and location, and include a precise description of the desired exhibits and the exhibition concept. Selection criteria include the thematic relevance of the objects, the intercultural added value, and the practical feasibility of the project.

The aim of the funding is to promote Islamic culture and strengthen intercultural exchange through temporary presentations in museums, exhibition spaces, and professional conferences. The loan items include, among others, calligraphies, historical manuscripts, images, posters, and stamps that have already been presented in renowned regional and international exhibitions. Hosting institutions benefit not only from the impressive diversity of the objects but also contribute to international understanding and dialogue between different cultures. Interested institutions are encouraged to outline their exhibition project in detail and thus bring the cultural richness of the collection into the public sphere.
