Description

The Wilhelm Leuschner Foundation enables educational institutions throughout Germany to borrow exhibition materials for political-historical education free of charge. The offer includes 14 professionally designed roll-ups as well as a comprehensive accompanying booklet that can be used as teaching material in schools and extracurricular learning venues. The materials illuminate the life stages and work of the resistance fighter Wilhelm Leuschner and provide vivid access to memory culture, democracy education, and social cohesion. Teachers and educational professionals can continuously order the roll-ups and the didactic accompanying booklet by email to supplement their own curriculum with practical and interactive learning units.

With this initiative, the Foundation promotes sustainable learning processes in the funding areas of education, training & further education, labor & social affairs, as well as culture & media. The goal is to strengthen historical-political educational work and deepen the understanding of democracy at all levels.
