Description

The Awareness & Communication Partnerships with the European Foundation for the Care of Newborn Infants (GFCNI) offer non-profit organizations, public institutions, and companies within the EU the opportunity to develop and implement awareness and communication campaigns in the field of maternal and neonatal health. The program supports projects ranging from strategic campaign planning to multimedia toolkits and social media outreach. The goal is to improve understanding of pregnancy, childbirth, and newborn care, reduce stigma, and create sustainable impact through multilingual community engagement. Applications can be submitted continuously, allowing partnerships to respond flexibly to local and global needs.

Eligible for funding are non-profit organizations, public institutions, patient and parent networks, as well as healthcare professionals seeking to implement effective awareness initiatives. The scope ranges from designing target group-specific content—such as videos, infographics, or storytelling formats—to coordinating international thematic campaigns and evaluating project outcomes. Through interdisciplinary collaboration with experts from media, culture, and social services, campaigns are created that generate worldwide attention and inspire action. With a clear focus on health, labor & social affairs, as well as culture & media, the funding measure actively contributes to improving care standards and strengthening community structures in maternal and neonatal care.
