Description
The aws Industry-Startup.Net program offers a nationwide neutral matching service in Austria that brings together innovation-driven start-ups, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and large corporations. The goal is the swift initiation of cooperative future projects in the areas of research & development, prototyping, technology partnerships, pilot projects, product development, sales partnerships, knowledge exchange, and strategic investments. Funding is provided for start-ups in the pre-foundation, foundation, and growth phases (up to six and a half years on the market) as well as established companies with headquarters or operations in Austria. Through the neutral mediation via aws Connect, mutually beneficial synergies arise that accelerate market entry and open up new business fields. Additionally, regular matching events enable intensive exchange and personal networking among all participants.
Interested parties can register on the aws Connect platform until 31.12.2025 and complete their profile with a matching questionnaire and a pitch deck. After a quality-assured pre-selection, aws introduces suitable cooperation partners and prepares documents for both sides in a targeted manner. Participation is free of charge for founders, SMEs, and corporations, with no financial grants being disbursed – the program focuses on establishing valuable partnerships. Austria Wirtschaftsservice Gesellschaft mbH (aws) accompanies all steps as the federal government’s independent promotional bank and offers complementary consulting services to effectively support projects from the idea stage to market maturity.
