Description

Contributions to EUROPEA Austria has been promoting agricultural education in Upper Austria since 1998 by covering the annual membership fees for the European Network of Agricultural Education. With an annual funding amount of around €1,000 and a funding rate of 100%, the program enables national associations and institutions of vocational agricultural education (VET institutions) to participate in pan-European exchanges and professional competitions. The goal is to strengthen cross-border cooperation, promote intercultural encounters, and facilitate knowledge transfer between agricultural training centers and experts from politics and practice. Financial support is provided as a grant upon receipt of the invoice and is available without limitation.

Eligible for funding are interest groups, associations, educational institutions, and public entities with non-profit status based in Upper Austria that are organized within the network and have their membership fees invoiced annually. Applications can be submitted at any time, as ongoing funding opportunities exist; disbursement occurs immediately after invoicing. The funding program aims for sustainable impact by ensuring continuous national representation in the network and supporting participation in European projects. By fully financing the membership fee, participants incur no personal costs, allowing greater focus on substantive collaboration and the expansion of agricultural education offerings.
