Contributions to Associations, Federations, and the Chamber of Agriculture

The Vorarlberg state funding supports interest groups, associations, and the Chamber of Agriculture through grants for the implementation of measures anchored in the Agricultural and Forestry Promotion Act. Eligible to apply are public institutions as well as organizations engaged in agriculture and forestry in Vorarlberg. The funding initiative covers projects in the areas of agriculture & rural development, environmental and nature conservation, as well as energy efficiency & climate protection and is continuously available. By providing financial resources, needs-based support is enabled, serving both the agricultural structure and professional development as well as sustainable management.

The focus of the funding is on diverse measures: improving working and living conditions as well as expanding professional knowledge and personal skills to strengthen the competitiveness and productivity of agricultural and forestry enterprises. Additionally, projects for agricultural structure promotion, quality assurance, product safety, and hygiene are supported. Another emphasis is placed on animal and environmental protection, particularly the preservation of livestock breeds and cultivated plants as well as the management of alpine areas. Forestry initiatives under the Forestry Act complete the range of funding. This support offers targeted incentives for a modern, resource-conserving, and future-oriented coexistence in rural areas and promotes the sustainable development of agriculture in Vorarlberg.
