Funding of projects and educational partnerships for the vocational training and further education of educators, childminders, and daycare providers, as well as support for graduates of training and continuing education courses not funded through the Upper Austrian Education Account.

Description
This funding program in Upper Austria enables educational institutions as well as private individuals to purposefully implement projects and partnerships in the fields of initial and continuing education and education. It particularly supports initiatives aimed at the professional qualification of educators and childminders that introduce innovative concepts to stimulate the education sector. Designed as a grant, the support is awarded continuously and adapts flexibly to the current needs in Upper Austria. In addition to providers offering further training, graduates of initial and continuing education courses who do not receive support through the Upper Austrian Education Account also benefit. The goal of the funding is to strengthen the continuous professionalization of educational professionals and thereby sustainably improve the quality of education in daycare and schools.
Applications require a detailed breakdown of total costs as well as a comprehensive project description. Applications have been able to be submitted without limitation and informally since 2013, ensuring flexible implementation of courses, workshops, and networking meetings. Funding prerequisites include compliance with the general funding guidelines of the State of Upper Austria as well as contractual agreements regarding the scope and content of service delivery. This offer is aimed both at institutions and individuals providing further training for educators, assistants, and childminders, as well as at graduates who otherwise receive no funding.
