Description

Since December 19, 2013, the program in Styria has been specifically promoting measures to qualitatively improve inpatient elderly care. Municipalities and private nursing home operators can apply for grants to optimize their care facilities. The focus is on both structural adaptations and innovative therapy offerings by specialized professionals to sustainably strengthen the range of services. The continuous submission option allows for flexible planning, with fund allocation based on a recognition certificate according to § 13a StSHG as well as an approval under the Styrian Nursing Home Act (StPHG).

Interested municipalities and operators benefit from a transparent funding structure: at least two offers must be obtained, and payment is made upon submission of the original receipt of the settled invoice. This clear documentation requirement ensures effective use of funds. Initiatives in the fields of health, social affairs, as well as labor & social affairs are equally supported to ensure needs-based and high-quality care for the elderly. This funding instrument enables the optimization of existing structures and the sustainable establishment of interdisciplinary therapy offerings.
