Advisory Modules for Agriculture from 2023 (Administrative Regulation on Advisory Services from 2023)

With the grant program "Consultation Modules for Agriculture from 2023," companies in agriculture as well as in horticulture, fruit, and viticulture in Baden-Württemberg are specifically supported in addressing current challenges. The goal is to strengthen competitiveness, sustainability, knowledge transfer, and innovation in rural areas. Eligible for funding are consulting services from a modular catalog in the areas of enterprises & income combinations, arable farming, special crops, organic farming, animal husbandry, animal welfare & animal health, as well as biodiversity, climate protection & sustainability. The funding is provided as a grant covering 70% to 85% of eligible costs, up to a maximum of €1,500 per consultation module. Applications can be submitted continuously via the Baden-Württemberg service portal; the decisive factor is submission at least one day before the completion of the respective consulting service.

Eligible to participate are agricultural enterprises with headquarters or operations in Baden-Württemberg. A prerequisite is the use of neutral consulting by qualified consultants who have been selected through a concession award procedure and have concluded a service concession contract with the state of Baden-Württemberg. Additionally, integration into the system for knowledge and innovation in agriculture (AKIS), compliance with the requirements of the respective module specification sheet including minimum consulting hours, as well as the written conclusion of a consulting contract with the enterprise are required. These requirements ensure that entrepreneurs receive well-founded expert services and achieve long-term effects for their operations.
