The Lower Austria regional funding program offers companies of all sizes as well as public institutions, interest groups, associations, non-profit organizations, and educational institutions located in Lower Austria tailored consulting services to strengthen economically viable climate and environmental protection. Up to 20 consulting days can be utilized, with subsidies amounting to 50% of net costs for private-sector applicants and 75% for non-profit organizations (daily rate up to EUR 800; maximum funding EUR 12,000). Applications can be submitted at any time by submitting the corresponding participation application for business or non-profit sectors. Through cooperation with the Eco-Management Pool, qualified consultants are commissioned to develop individual environmentally relevant measures that go far beyond legal minimum requirements.
Consulting services are funded on topics such as the introduction and continuation of environmental management systems (EMAS, ISO 14001), obtaining national or international eco-labels, ecological product certifications, as well as other sustainable projects based on the latest research, technology, and science. Participation requirements include having the business location in Lower Austria, implementing environmentally relevant measures only after funding approval, and compliance with de minimis aid regulations. Eligible expenses are limited to the fees of external experts from the Eco-Management Pool. This consulting offer creates a transparent and unbureaucratic framework for companies and public institutions to successfully plan and implement effective climate and environmental protection strategies.
