The aim of this funding is to ensure and strengthen professional counseling services in the fields of Social Affairs, Children and Youth, as well as Labor & Social Affairs. Organizations acting as non-profit entities, interest groups, other associations, or public institutions that offer corresponding support services may submit applications on an ongoing basis to the Lower Saxony Ministry of Social Affairs, Labor, Health, and Equality.
A prerequisite for funding is having a registered office or branch in Lower Saxony, as well as proof of an existing or planned counseling service for affected families and their relatives. Eligible costs include, in particular, personnel expenses and material costs. The evaluation of submitted projects is based on regional integration and actual need, the professional qualifications of the providers, and the sustainability of the measures. Application documents required include a detailed project description, a financing and budget plan, as well as proof of non-profit status or a certificate of sponsorship.
