Vocational Training Scholarships of the Ursula Wandres Foundation

The Ursula Wandres Foundation honors young talents and enables financially disadvantaged prospective students and trainees to start their professional future without worries. Within the framework of vocational training scholarships, an average of two particularly deserving applicants from all over Germany are selected each year, who, despite academic ambitions, are not eligible for BAföG benefits and otherwise have hardly any means to finance their study or training costs. The program aims to ensure equal access to education and professional qualification, thereby sustainably strengthening the individual development of young people.

All private individuals who cannot independently realize their training or study plans due to financial need and who do not have a claim to BAföG are eligible to apply. Submission of documents is possible at any time, provided the scholarship requirements are met. After positive evaluation, the selected scholarship recipients receive financial support to cover tuition fees, learning materials, or living expenses. Thanks to the continuous awarding and manageable number of selections, an intensive exchange between sponsors and recipients arises, going beyond mere financial support. Thus, the program not only provides financial relief but also offers a professional network and sustainable prospects for a successful career.
