Participation Fund for SMEs SH

The Mittelstand SH Equity Participation Fund enables small and medium-sized enterprises as well as start-ups in Schleswig-Holstein to specifically strengthen their equity capital and sustainably improve their creditworthiness. Silent or open participations ranging from €50,000 up to €1.5 million support financing needs for company foundations, expansions, consolidations, succession arrangements, and liquidity increases. The term extends depending on the form of participation from seven to ten years, whereby silent participations can also be repaid in installments from the sixth year onward. A creditworthiness-dependent fee structure combined with a sustainability guideline ensures responsible use of funds and promotes long-term investment perspectives in the true North.

The Investitionsbank Schleswig-Holstein (IB.SH) and the Mittelständische Beteiligungsgesellschaft Schleswig-Holstein (MBG), together with the State of Schleswig-Holstein, provide this equity capital. Eligible for funding are companies at any stage with headquarters or operations in the state; excluded are restructuring measures and the refinancing of existing bank liabilities. Applications can be submitted informally at any time; preparatory consultation with the IB.SH funding advisors is recommended to create optimal conditions.
