Description
The operational qualification measures of the State of Upper Austria support practice-oriented initial and further training for unemployed persons registered with the Upper Austria Public Employment Service (AMS) who have their main residence in Upper Austria. The goal is to increase employability through programs such as workplace-related qualification, Implacement and Implacement-plus foundations, as well as insolvency and outplacement foundations. Eligible expenses include course fees, monthly qualification allowances, boarding or accommodation costs, and specialist literature. For insolvency foundations, funding also covers foundation management, career orientation, active job search, training measures, and scholarships. The grant is provided as a subsidy; applications can be submitted at any time since June 1, 2013.
Only recognized qualification providers approved by AMS Upper Austria are eligible for funding. A training plan approved by AMS, a legally signed cost plan for each participant, and the annual submission of a funding declaration by the foundation provider are required. Interested educational institutions submit the complete documents – including the approved training plan, cost plan, and the foundation’s funding declaration – to the Department of Economic Affairs of the Upper Austrian State Government. The measures aim to establish sustainable qualification processes at the actual workplace and thereby pave the way to permanent employment.
