Funding objective
The Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (BMDV) supports projects in corporate mobility management aimed at reducing environmentally and climate-damaging emissions from the transport sector. Funding is provided for innovative pilot and demonstration projects (innovation support), impactful standard measures (broad support), as well as the development of site-specific concepts through standardized consulting services (initial support).

Description
The program enables nationwide funded grants for legal entities and individuals, educational institutions, as well as municipal units to design and implement effective corporate mobility management. Under three funding priorities – innovation promotion, broad-based promotion, and initial funding – pilot projects with a special innovative character are supported, proven standard measures are implemented on a broad scale, and site-specific concepts are developed through standardized consulting services. With the goal of reducing environmentally and climate-damaging emissions in the transport sector, the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (BMDV) supports both pioneering future solutions and practical measures in companies, research institutions, and municipalities. Funding applications are submitted via the electronic system easy-Online; innovation sketches by 11.08.2025, formal applications for broad-based and initial funding by no later than 31.12.2026. Ongoing innovation calls enable continuous submission of new project ideas.
Prerequisites for funding include the EU headquarters with a German establishment at the time of disbursement, a project not yet started, a comprehensive utilization plan, and, in the case of joint projects, a written cooperation agreement. The funding amount varies depending on the focus: innovation projects receive from EUR 200,000, standard measures up to EUR 60,000, and consulting flat rates up to EUR 5,000. Evaluation criteria include the degree of innovation, impact on corporate mobility management, as well as sustainability and utilization aspects. With transparent criteria and clear deadlines, the program offers comprehensive support to efficiently realize mobility concepts and make them usable in the long term.
