BILDUNGexpress of the Jakob Kaiser Foundation e.V.

With the BILDUNGexpress, the Jakob-Kaiser-Stiftung e.V. supports a low-threshold offer for the political education of young adults throughout Germany. In compact day trips, topics are explored in depth that often receive too little attention within the school framework. Bus travel is included in the participant fee starting at €20. Dates can be chosen flexibly, provided the request is submitted at least eight weeks in advance. Through interactive formats and controversial discussions, understanding of complex interrelations in politics, economics, and society is sharpened, and political judgment skills are sustainably strengthened.

The program is aimed at young adults who wish to engage intensively with current issues. Modules offered include, among others, topics on flight and migration, politics and media, globalization, security policy, poverty, or the energy transition. Each day trip invites participants to change perspectives, reflect together, and critically engage with societal challenges. Eligible for funding are private individuals who independently organize their participation and submit the application on time. Through the continuous availability of the grant, the BILDUNGexpress offers a simple and inclusive opportunity for active participation in democratic processes.
