Description

The PhosZoe Foundation – Light and Life supports non-profit organizations, educational institutions, interest groups, and associations nationwide that are committed to promoting educational equity in child and youth work. The goal is to facilitate disadvantaged children and young people’s access to digital learning opportunities through targeted provision of laptops and PCs, thereby sustainably improving their educational prospects. The funding is explicitly aimed at initiatives that conduct their educational work outside the state school system, allowing them to respond flexibly to individual needs. This support is intended to strengthen existing resources to impart digital skills and enable equitable participation in social and professional life.

Applicants must document verifiable commitment to disadvantaged children and youth and present concrete educational projects outside of state educational programs. Funding is exclusively provided for hardware acquisitions in the form of laptops and PCs that are directly used in project work. The continuous application process allows for needs-based allocation of funds and flexible response to new project ideas. Selection is based on demonstrable dedication to educational equity as well as the relevance of the project work to the target group. This funding format offers non-profit organizations and initiatives a straightforward opportunity to develop digital educational offerings and ensure equal access to digital learning environments for disadvantaged young people.
