Description
The funding program "Educational Policy Measures for Early Childhood Education and General Education" supports projects designed in Tyrol that aim for a sustainable expansion of early childhood education and the general education system. Eligible for funding are sole proprietorships, non-profit organizations, and public institutions planning educational policy activities. The non-repayable one-time or multiple grants cover up to 100% of eligible personnel and material costs and require a significant added value for the Tyrolean educational landscape. Applications must be submitted electronically before the start of the planned funding period; the deadline for application submission is August 31, 2027.
A prerequisite for funding is that the projects do not primarily serve private profit-making and are preferably implemented by compulsory schools as well as child education and childcare institutions. Eligibility for funding exists exclusively for measures not already fully externally financed. Evaluation is based on the significance of the contribution to the educational landscape, the receipt date of complete applications, and available budget funds. The application must include, among other things, a detailed project description with a cost breakdown and financing plan, as well as a declaration of already applied for or granted funding and a current company register or association register extract. Based on these documents, the Department of Early Childhood Education and General Education of the State of Tyrol makes the funding decision. This measure thus offers a tailored opportunity to financially secure innovative educational approaches in Tyrol and to anchor them sustainably both professionally and organizationally.
