Description

The BiNa project – Education and Further Qualification of the Walter-Kolb-Stiftung e.V. supports employed adults without a state-recognized professional qualification in the Rhine-Main area in acquiring missing vocational qualifications. Participants aged 18 and over with primary residence in Frankfurt am Main or the surrounding region benefit from individual coaching by experienced specialist advisors and financial support covering up to 100% of the qualification costs. The goal is to expand professional prospects, strengthen economic security, and enable access to recognized certifications. The funding measure is thematically anchored in education, vocational training and further education, as well as counseling, and is offered continuously – applications have been possible at any time since July 1, 2022.

Selection is made through a structured application process in which the motivation and socioeconomic background of applicants are evaluated. Funding requirements include a minimum age of 18 years, employment subject to social security contributions, no existing professional qualification in the current occupation, and proof of residence in the funding area. All expenses for qualification measures and accompanying coaching are funded. The application must include the completed BiNa application form, a letter of motivation, a tabular CV, as well as proof of employment and income; additional meaningful documents can complement the individual application. BiNa thus offers a tailored combination of advisory services and cost coverage to secure the path to professional qualification in the long term and sustainably promote professional development.
