Description

The BINGO! project funding in Schleswig-Holstein is aimed at non-profit organizations, interest groups, and associations engaged in the fields of nature and environmental protection, environmental education, development cooperation, energy efficiency, climate protection, as well as agriculture and rural development. Within the framework of a quarterly awarding committee appointed by the state government, grants are awarded for the implementation of environmental and development projects. A clear spatial connection to the state of Schleswig-Holstein as well as proof of non-profit status or a comparable status are required. The goal is to support local initiatives and associations in effectively implementing their projects and contributing to the long-term protection of natural resources. The funding originates from the proceeds of the lottery "BINGO! The Environmental Lottery," operated by NordwestLotto Schleswig-Holstein.

Interested groups benefit from a transparent application phase, which opens quarterly and ensures a structured review of all project proposals. Ideas that are practical, innovative, and sustainable are supported. The BINGO! project funding thus strengthens not only nature and environmental protection but also educational work and international dialogue in development cooperation. Through on-site support, a network of committed actors is created that promotes the exchange of experiences and encourages the implementation of further projects. A complete project description, financial planning, and proof of non-profit status form the basis for a successful application.
