Carl Hahn Scholarship of the Carl and Marisa Hahn Foundation

The Carl Hahn Scholarship of the Carl and Marisa Hahn Foundation is aimed at talented young people residing in Wolfsburg, Chemnitz, or Zwickau who are pursuing a national or international university degree. The funding is awarded as a one-year scholarship, which can be extended annually until graduation upon fulfillment of the requirements – including regular proof of academic performance. Applications can be submitted continuously; the application form is available for download. Selection is based on academic achievements, demonstrated social engagement, and the financial situation of the applicants. The scholarship aims to enable equal access to higher education and to sustainably support talented young professionals.

Requirements for a successful application include excellent high school grades, social commitment in the form of voluntary work, and demonstrated financial need. Submission must include a completed application form, cover letter, CV, high school diploma, and, if applicable, scholarship/BAföG notices and enrollment certificate. The foundation particularly honors applicants who, in addition to outstanding academic results, actively take on responsibility in their community. By combining academic excellence and social engagement, this award format opens new perspectives for participants and strengthens the long-term transfer of knowledge and international networking of young talents.
