Description

The Christoph Lohfert Project Fund supports non-profit organizations and social enterprises nationwide with uncomplicated grants of up to €1,000 per initiative. Up to ten projects are funded annually that demonstrably contribute to strengthening patient orientation and safety in healthcare. Projects from the fields of health, social affairs, education, as well as training and further education are supported, focusing on the perspective of those affected and providing impulses for patient-centered practice. As a one-time grant, the fund offers financial resources for seed funding of exemplary concepts, enabling low-threshold implementation of innovative ideas – from participatory offerings in care facilities to training formats for medical professionals.

Interested parties need only submit a brief exposé describing the project and the planned use of funds to meet the funding requirements. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis and can be submitted informally, facilitating timely review and approval. Experts in the field of patient empowerment select the projects worthy of funding and ensure transparent allocation of resources. This project fund is particularly aimed at initiatives and associations that wish to quickly realize their projects through low-threshold support and achieve visible improvements in patient care.
