Description

The Concerto21 Academy of the Alfred Toepfer Foundation F.V.S. in Hamburg offers private individuals from the fields of culture, music, and performing arts an exclusive platform for artistic reflection, networking, and profile development. In two intensive monthly sessions from June 8–12 and July 14–19, 2026, participants will gain access to professional impulses, workshops, and discussion rounds with renowned experts such as Andreas Brandis, Sonia Simmenauer, and Lena Krause. The goal is to sharpen one’s artistic identity, develop innovative strategies for an independent market presence, and strengthen entrepreneurial skills. The application requires a CV highlighting key concerts and projects, an artistic statement, links to music samples, as well as a short introductory video (max. 3 minutes). The jury particularly evaluates the quality of the statement, the relevance of the CV, and the expressiveness of the video. The application deadline is January 31, 2026.

For the duration of the program, the foundation covers all costs for accommodation, meals, and workshops, while travel and transportation expenses are borne by the participants themselves. At Gut Siggen, an inspiring space is created where communal exchange and personal development are the focus. Since the first academy in 2008, a vibrant network of alumni and supporters has been established, providing sustainable impulses for musical careers. Interested cultural professionals benefit from structured feedback phases, practical exercises, and long-term mentoring contacts to realize their artistic visions and successfully position themselves in the music market.
