Description
The EU funding measure supports the establishment and operation of cross-border Cyber Hubs within the European Union with a grant volume of €2,000,000. The aim is to promote national authorities, providers of critical infrastructures, and operators of essential services, as well as other public and private actors in the field of cybersecurity, in building powerful data analysis and cooperation centers. The funded Cyber Hubs consolidate information on cyber threats from multiple Member States, provide advanced analysis and detection tools, and strengthen the continuous exchange of knowledge and information between CSIRTs, CERTs, ISACs, and other relevant networks. Through the shared use of secure infrastructures and automated data platforms, improved situational awareness and a coordinated response to cyber incidents are ensured.
Eligible for funding are public institutions and companies designated as National CyberHUBs by a Member State. A prerequisite for a successful application is participation in a Joint Procurement Action and its positive evaluation. Eligible expenses include preparatory activities, cooperation with stakeholders, operating costs, personnel expenses, and the procurement of infrastructure and tools. Funding applications can be submitted from 09.12.2025 until 28.05.2026. Required documents are the standard application form (DEP), an Ownership Control Declaration, and the official designation decision of the Member State. This funding will help create robust, networked Cyber Hubs that contribute to sustainably strengthening cybersecurity in the EU and further developing the protection of critical infrastructures.
