Description
DeepTech & Climate Fund (DTCF) supports technology-oriented start-ups and growth companies in Germany and Europe with long-term financing contributions ranging from €5 to €50 million. The fund of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy targets DeepTech and ClimateTech companies as well as technology-intensive start-ups and SMEs with high capital requirements and longer development cycles. Eligible for funding are companies and founders based in Germany or Europe who pursue a clear growth strategy and advance innovative technological business models in the fields of research & innovation, digitalization, as well as energy efficiency and renewable energies.
The DTCF acts as an anchor investor and cooperates with private and institutional partners such as family offices and foundations to build a robust technology ecosystem for the future. Projects are evaluated based on the level of technological innovation, market potential, sustainability aspects, as well as company maturity and team competence. Through ongoing application opportunities, potential recipients can submit their funding projects at any time and benefit from a collaborative network. Fund management is carried out by DeepTech & Climate Fonds Management GmbH, based in Bonn, which, through its expertise, ensures strategic support beyond mere capital provision and thus supports the development of sustainable, capital-intensive solutions for global challenges.
