Description

The "Future Forge" of the Pfadfinden Foundation supports non-profit scout troops, districts, and development groups within the Federation of Scouts with a grant of €250. Funding is provided for a joint annual planning weekend or meeting, during which committees such as the troop council, troop assembly, or working groups plan the upcoming scouting year using the troop plan, compass, or creative thank-you activities. Up to 50 applications are considered on an ongoing basis, so participation depends on the timely submission of the online application via the portal. Eligible costs for moderation, catering, accommodation, and thank-you activities are covered 100% and must be settled within two weeks after the meeting through a brief usage report including a report and two to three photos.

Interested organizations must be affiliated with a troop, district, or development group within the BdP and be among the first 50 applicants. Applications are submitted easily via the Pfadfinden Foundation’s online portal. After the planning weekend, a usage report with a brief report and 2–3 photos must be submitted. Through this, the "Future Forge" actively promotes commitment to social cohesion, democracy education, and educational work with children and youth – thereby contributing to the sustainable development of youth work throughout the entire country.
