With its digital funding application, the ZEIT STIFTUNG BUCERIUS enables non-profit and publicly funded institutions throughout Germany to submit project proposals in the fields of Science & Research, Art & Culture, Education & Upbringing, as well as Politics & Society, Press Support, and Bucerius Lab in a straightforward manner. All relevant documents – cover letter, detailed project description, cost and financing plan – are uploaded in PDF format via the online form. Through continuous funding opportunities, initiatives can submit applications throughout the year. A planning period of approximately six months prior to project start is recommended to ensure thorough review.
A prerequisite for funding is proof of a non-profit or publicly financed legal status (e.g., associations, foundations, schools, universities). Private individuals are only eligible to apply within the framework of scholarship programs. The procedure requires, in addition to the application form, consent to data processing in accordance with the GDPR as well as the complete submission of the aforementioned PDF documents.
