Funding for the association "fit4internet" – an association aimed at increasing digital competence in Austria. The goal is the rapid and standardized development, deepening, and dissemination of digital skills in Austria's economy and society.

Description
Digitization of Society supports the association fit4internet with the goal of systematically building, deepening, and widely disseminating digital competencies in Austria's economy and society. The measure supports interest groups and associations in Vienna through a financial grant aimed at training and further education, commitment to social cohesion and the strengthening of democracy, as well as social and labor market-related applications of digitization. As an ongoing funding opportunity, applications can be submitted at any time until the budget is exhausted. Standardized offerings ensure rapid knowledge transfer, benefiting companies as well as private and public institutions.
For a successful application, a legally valid funding request with a complete cost calculation, a meaningful project description, and a reliable financing plan is required. The basis is the recognition of the General Framework Guidelines for the Granting of Funding from Federal Funds (ARR 2014) as well as the general funding conditions of the BMDW. Projects must fall within the jurisdiction of the Federal Ministry for Digitization and demonstrate secured overall financing. The unlimited budget volume guarantees flexibility in implementation and contributes to making Austria quickly fit for the digital future.
