Discover IP offers Austrian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with up to 49 employees a free platform to specifically protect intellectual property and utilize it profitably. With a wide range of consulting and service offerings, new courses of action are presented, from trademark and patent registration to strategies for licensing revenues. Experts from the Austrian Patent Office accompany participants in recognizing and systematically leveraging the potential of their innovations. The program not only promotes legal protection but also supports the sustainable strengthening of competitiveness in both national and international markets.

The funding is provided as a 100% grant and is available to all companies based in Austria with fewer than 50 employees. Applications can be submitted until May 30, 2030, with no maximum amount set for the service offerings. The goal is to assist SMEs in fully exploiting the potential of their intellectual property and thereby opening up new market opportunities. By being freely available, any financial barrier is removed, enabling companies of all sizes to benefit from this tailored consulting. Interested companies gain well-founded insights into IP management and financing, thus laying the foundation for sustainable growth and innovation leadership.
