Dr. Braun Science Awards

The Dr. Brauns Science Awards of the Dr. Liselotte and Dr. Karl-Robert Brauns Foundation honor outstanding scientific achievements in the fields of Internal Medicine and Ophthalmology at research institutions in Hamburg. Since its establishment in November 2008, the foundation has aimed to sustainably strengthen research in the Hanseatic city. The application process begins on October 12, 2024, requiring the submission of a concise project description as well as proof of institutional affiliation. Through the prize money, scientists receive not only recognition for work already accomplished but also financial support for future research endeavors.
