"You are part of it!" – "We in Olsberg" Foundation

The foundation "Wir in Olsberg" offers with its program "You Are Included!" a low-threshold financial and in-kind support in North Rhine-Westphalia. The target group consists of children and adolescents residing in Olsberg who, due to financial constraints or a migration background, would otherwise be unable to participate in cultural, sporting, linguistic, and musical activities. Eligible expenses include monetary as well as in-kind benefits, which are granted, for example, in the form of subsidies for sports clubs, swimming courses, music lessons, or class trips. Regardless of application deadlines, funding applications can be submitted at any time on an ongoing basis. Prerequisites include proof of need or migration background as well as alignment of the requested offer with the foundation’s purpose. Selection is based on social circumstances, the urgency of the funding purpose, and the straightforward processing of the application procedure.

The program supports non-profit organizations, private individuals, and public institutions and aims to strengthen equal opportunities and participation for all young people. Projects are funded in the areas of children and youth, social affairs, sports, culture, migration, education, as well as vocational training and further education. With a swift, unbureaucratic decision-making process, the foundation supports new as well as existing offers, not to replace existing structures but to complement them purposefully. Interested applicants can download the required cover sheets and funding guidelines and submit them directly to the Family Office of the City of Olsberg.
