Dual Study Program – Therapy and Nursing Sciences

The DAA Foundation for Education and Profession supports trainees at tuition-fee-based substitute and supplementary schools of its affiliated companies who are simultaneously enrolled in the dual bachelor's degree program in Therapy and Nursing Sciences at the Hamburg Distance Learning University (HFH). With a monthly subsidy of €40 during the study phase accompanying the training, the program contributes to strengthening educational equity. The funding extends over a maximum of two academic years and can be applied for at any time. In this way, financial barriers on the path to an academic qualification are reduced, and young people are effectively supported in balancing practical training and theoretical studies.

The funding is available to private individuals undergoing training at a tuition-fee-based partner school of a DAA foundation network and simultaneously enrolled in the dual bachelor's degree program in Therapy and Nursing Sciences at the HFH. The official application form must be used for the application, which can be submitted directly to the DAA Foundation. A statement from the school authority is not required. The monthly payment is made upon proof of enrollment and training progress. It is possible to combine this grant with other tuition fee waivers or reductions. In this way, the foundation aims to ensure that trainees and students can complete a professionally sound education in therapy and nursing regardless of their financial background.
