ERDF 21-27: Shaping Regional "Innovation Ecosystems" - Focus on Cluster Activities

ERDF 21-27: Shaping Regional Innovation Ecosystems – Focus on Cluster Activities continuously grants subsidies in Vienna from 01.01.2021 to 31.12.2029 from the EU program IBW/ERDF & JTF 2021-2027. The goal is to establish and further develop an innovation-friendly environment through targeted cluster activities. By expanding appropriate structures and networks in strategically important thematic areas, start-ups and operational innovation projects are systematically supported. Companies, founders, and educational institutions thereby receive financial leeway to enter new cooperations, transfer research results into practice, and strengthen regionally anchored value chains.

Eligible for funding are founders, start-ups, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), as well as research institutions located in Vienna, implementing projects within the framework of Measure 1.3. The grant is provided as a non-repayable subsidy and supports activities that advance innovations across industries within clusters. Applications can be submitted until the deadline of 31.12.2029. A prerequisite is that the project complies with the program’s requirements and is realized in the Vienna area. The funding sets sustainable impulses that secure long-term growth, international knowledge transfer, and competitive structures in the capital region.
