Description

The EAGF measure “Agricultural Income Support 2023–2027” supports agricultural and forestry enterprises as well as private individuals throughout Austria with the aim of ensuring stable and sustainable incomes and compensating for significant income fluctuations. Through a uniform basic payment for eligible home-grown area across the entire federal territory, as well as a supplementary redistribution payment on the first 40 hectares of home-grown area, smaller enterprises in particular are specifically strengthened compared to larger enterprises and income disparities are reduced. The budget amounts to approximately EUR 2,666.76 million. The legal basis is provided by the Market Regulation Act 2021 and the Austrian CAP Strategic Plan 2023–2027, which governs the technical requirements and funding conditions. Funding is provided within the framework of two funding lines: BISS 21-01 (Basic Payment for Home-Grown Areas) and CRISS 29-01 (Redistribution Payment for Sustainability).

Applications must be submitted via the Digital Funding Platform (DFP) of Agrarmarkt Austria (eAMA); prior registration is required. The submission window extends from 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2027. Proof of eligible home-grown areas throughout the entire federal territory must be documented. The program is aimed at all agricultural enterprises seeking to optimize income compensation and strengthen their competitiveness in the diverse agricultural market. Interested enterprises and individuals can find further information in the respective information leaflets of Agrarmarkt Austria as well as in the legal provisions of the CAP Strategic Plan to ensure smooth application and funding processing.
