Description
The one-time grant (Häuslbauerbonus) according to the Carinthian Housing Promotion Act 2017 is aimed at natural persons who, as owners or co-owners of a building plot in Carinthia, wish to realize the dream of their own home. Funding is provided for detached single-family homes, semi-detached houses, and group housing developments. The bonus amounts to up to €20,000 per subsidized dwelling – and up to €25,000 for a usable living area of a maximum of 150 m². Applications can be submitted year-round, allowing construction projects to be realized flexibly and without deadline pressure. A prerequisite is compliance with personal criteria for grant eligibility as well as fulfillment of objective requirements regarding the construction execution.
Various proofs are required for the application: a confirmation of the project’s execution in accordance with the application, a confirmation from the municipality regarding the completion of construction, a form-compliant confirmation of the actual construction execution, and registration certificates of all intended users of the subsidized home. Combining this grant with a subsidized loan is excluded. Furthermore, the Häuslbauerbonus supports climate-friendly measures such as densification, environmental bonuses, or passive house standards. This grant helps to create high-quality living space in the region and sustainably strengthen infrastructure. Interested parties can obtain the forms from the Office of the Carinthian State Government, Department 11 – Social Affairs, Housing and Labor Market, thereby laying the foundation for future-oriented housing development.
