Elbstation Academy (Elbe Foundation)

The Elbstation Academy of the Hamburg Elbe Foundation is aimed at educationally disadvantaged young people residing in Hamburg and offers free, holistic support over a period of 12 months. Participants develop creative media projects in teams in the fields of film, radio, and theater and experience practical career orientation through workshops and coaching. Accompanied by experienced mentors, they can strengthen their personalities, acquire new skills, and present their talents to an audience. The initiative aims to sustainably increase social participation and equal opportunities, particularly paving the way for young people with a migration background to access further education and training.

Participation is 100% funded; no costs are incurred by the young people. In addition to proof of educational disadvantage, a Hamburg residence is a prerequisite for application. The application phase for the upcoming program starts on March 1, 2026. Interested parties can then apply directly to the Elbstation Academy. As a sponsored project of the non-profit Elbe Foundation, the support is fully dedicated to creative self-realization and individual educational guidance.
